The Role: Estates & Facilities Manager
Location: Leicestershire
Sector: Hospitality and leisure
Salary: Up to £45,000
I am delighted to be working with a high-quality hotel property to find an experienced and dedicated Estates and Facilities Manager in Leicestershire.
As the Estates & Facilities Manager you will oversee the maintenance, infrastructure, health and safety compliance, and operational effectiveness of a stunning hospitality destination set within 70 acres of parkland and waterside grounds.
This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for ensuring that the property, grounds, equipment, utilities, and wider infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards, supporting an exceptional experience for guests and colleagues alike.
The Role
You will lead the Grounds and Maintenance teams, manage the day-to-day operation of the estate, and ensure all facilities remain safe, compliant, efficient, and fit for purpose.

- Ensuring the hotel, resort, buildings, grounds, and equipment comply with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Managing the day-to-day facilities operation, including buildings, utilities, plant, equipment, infrastructure, and external areas.
- Leading and supporting the Grounds and Maintenance teams to deliver consistently high standards across the estate.
- Overseeing the planned and reactive maintenance of buildings, facilities, grounds, and landscapes.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance schedules to maximise efficiency and minimise disruption to guests and hotel operations.
- Maintaining accurate records, permits, licences, inspections, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
- Developing and managing maintenance and facilities budgets, monitoring expenditure, and identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Identifying, planning, and prioritising capital expenditure projects that enhance the property, facilities, and guest experience.
- Leading special projects and improvement initiatives from initial concept through to completion.

About You
You will be an experienced estates, facilities, property, engineering, or maintenance professional with a strong understanding of operating within a complex property environment. Ideally you will have managed a team, be obsessed with guest experience, and have solid exposure to hotel or resort environments.
