DEVELOPMENT DETAILS
You’ll be the overnight presence at a landmark gated riverside community of 228 apartments and 34 townhouses, many with sweeping river views. Residents enjoy a well-equipped gym, secure parking and beautifully landscaped grounds, creating a calm, high-end environment to work in. With Richmond’s rail and Underground connections close by, the development blends tranquil riverside living with easy city access.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
You will be the reassuring, professional face of the development throughout the night, keeping residents safe, informed and supported. You’ll manage access and security, oversee the common areas, handle queries and incidents, and coordinate with contractors and the daytime team to ensure seamless service. Your calm, proactive approach will set the tone for a secure and welcoming environment.
What Success Looks Like
- Residents feel safe, acknowledged and well-informed throughout the night.
- Access control and security checks are completed on schedule with meticulous records.
- Incidents are managed calmly and resolved efficiently, with clear escalation when needed.
- Handover notes are thorough, enabling seamless continuity with the day team.
- Communal areas remain spotless, orderly and ready for morning peak times.
- Contractors and deliveries are coordinated without disruption to residents.

How You'll Spend Most Of Your Time
- Monitoring CCTV, managing access and conducting regular patrols of the building and grounds.
- Welcoming residents and guests, answering queries and offering practical assistance.
- Logging incidents, defects and maintenance issues, and escalating appropriately.
- Coordinating night-time contractors, deliveries and key handling with clear documentation.
- Performing spot checks on facilities and plant rooms, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Preparing detailed handovers for the morning team and updating operational logs.
Who This Role Is For
- You take pride in delivering warm, professional service at all hours.
- You stay composed under pressure and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
- You’re detail-focused, organised and comfortable with procedures and reporting.
- You’re a team player who communicates clearly across shifts and with residents.
- You’re physically able to conduct regular patrols and respond swiftly when needed.
Experience That Helps
- Previous concierge, security, front-of-house or customer service experience.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control and incident reporting.
- Experience within residential or hotel environments with high service standards.
- Confidence working night shifts and managing building emergencies.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety and fire evacuation procedures.
