Development Details
You’ll be based at a landmark mixed-use neighbourhood beside one of London’s best-connected stations, where contemporary apartments meet vibrant on-site cafes, restaurants and shops. With concierge services, lift access and beautifully landscaped communal areas, the setting is fast-paced, welcoming and community focused. You’ll work at the heart of daily life for residents and visitors, keeping high-traffic spaces immaculate and ensuring the environment feels safe, well cared for and easy to enjoy.
Role Expectations
You will be the visible, friendly presence across the development, maintaining pristine communal areas, supporting the concierge team and responding quickly to resident requests. Most days you’ll complete cleaning routines, waste management and minor maintenance, while liaising with contractors and reporting issues so everything runs smoothly.
What Success Looks Like
- Communal areas are consistently spotless, well-presented and ready for residents from first thing each morning.
- Waste and recycling are managed efficiently with bins rotated on time and storage areas kept clean and compliant.
- Maintenance issues are identified early, clearly logged and escalated, with effective follow-up to resolution.
- Residents, visitors and retailers receive prompt, courteous support and accurate information.
- Health and safety standards are embedded in everything you do, with checks completed and records up to date.
- You work seamlessly with the concierge and management teams, sharing information and offering proactive help.

How You'll Spend Most Of Your Time
- Carrying out scheduled cleaning of lobbies, lifts, corridors and communal facilities.
- Managing waste and recycling, including bin rotations, compactor use and keeping stores tidy.
- Conducting regular site walks to spot and report defects, hazards and maintenance needs.
- Completing basic tasks such as light bulb changes, touch-up cleaning and minor upkeep.
- Assisting residents and visitors with directions, deliveries and access queries.
- Supporting contractor visits by providing access, oversight and clear communication.

Experience That Helps
- Previous experience in an estate, hotel, retail or facilities role.
- Familiarity with cleaning schedules, waste management and basic maintenance tasks.
- Experience working in customer-facing environments with high footfall.
- Understanding of health and safety practices and safe systems of work.
- Confidence using radios, email and handheld devices to receive and record tasks.
