Estate Technician
Location: Ardler, Dundee
Salary: £26,503 - £27,898 per year
Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
We have an opportunity for an Estate Technician to join our team, based in Dundee. As an Estate Technician you will carry out the clearing and cleaning of void properties, including cleaning kitchens/bathrooms/grounds maintenance such as grass cutting, hedge cutting and weed removal. You will also be required to carry out mandatory compliance tests including Water Temperatures/Fire Alarm and Emergency lights. The role is predominantly working in a team but may include lone working, and the candidate will need to be self-motivated and good with technology.
The Role Includes:
- Cleaning and clearing void properties
- Carrying out ground maintenance
- Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations
- Providing accurate and timely information on progress and ensuring daily work records are completed
- Ensuring tools and equipment are kept in a usable condition
- Working in other geographical areas of the team’s responsibility
Skills and Experiences:
- Working knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills
- Previous experience of working in a domestic/cleaning environment
- British institute certificate in cleaning services (BICS), NVQ 2 in Horticulture or similar or willing to work towards
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
