Job Title: Estate & Technology CAD Designer
Location: Warton/Samlesbury - minimum 3 days on site per week. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role
Salary: £51,772 + dependant on experience

Role Description:
Shape the future of our estate and infrastructure projects as an Estate & Technology CAD Designer. Working with key stakeholders across the business, including Infrastructure and facilities as well as the security functions, you'll develop innovative 2D and 3D designs, support project delivery through BIM and design reviews, and help maintain accurate digital records. You'll also use the latest surveying and laser-scanning technology to capture building and infrastructure data, ensuring our facilities remain safe, efficient, and fit for the future.
Core Duties:
- Gather project requirements from key stakeholders
- Create 2D and 3D CAD designs and records
- Review designs and support BIM compliance
- Survey sites and produce accurate 3D models

- Experience in AEC (Architectural, Engineering and Construction) environment
- 2D and 3D CAD experience in a general design using packages such as: Bentley MicroStation, Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit
- Proficient in using visualisation software e.g. Lumion, 3DSMax Twin Motion Inscape
- Experience of contributing and supporting BIM projects and ISO 19650 working practices
The Digital Estate and Technology Team:
As a Estate & Technology CAD Designer you will build skills and knowledge within specialist areas, including Building Information Modelling (BIM) and 3D design. You will be working within a team of 15. The team is responsible for looking after the digital records of the facilities and estates for the Company (including the need for ad-hoc travel to other local sites) and the implementation of innovative technology within the built environment.
