Location: Tollgate Depot, Salisbury
Salary: A GBP 31,525 to GBP 32,578 per annum
Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full time (37 hours per week)

Salisbury City Council is seeking an Estates and Health and Safety Officer to support the management, maintenance and statutory compliance of our buildings, land and facilities.
This varied role combining estates and facilities responsibilities with operational health and safety support, helping to ensure Council sites remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose. Working across multiple locations, you will coordinate maintenance activities, support inspections and compliance programmes, work with contractors and help promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the organisation.

Please detail in your application how you meet the following criteria:
Essential
- Working knowledge of health and safety practices and statutory compliance in a practical environment.
- Ability to prioritise workload, manage competing demands and respond effectively to reactive issues.
- Strong organisational, administrative and record-keeping skills, with good attention to detail.
- Confident IT skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Full UK driving licence and the ability to travel between Council sites as required.

Desirable
- Experience in estates, facilities, compliance, inspections or a similar property-related role.
