AGH Solutions - Estates CAD Technician
AGH Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and provides Estates, Facilities, and Procurement services for the Trust. We are looking for an Estates CAD Technician to join our team.
We are looking for a highly motivated and professional individual capable of working well within our current Estates team who can liaise with the client to produce and keep up to date accurate site as fitted drawings & plans. The role will also incorporate general office duties as required.
Role Description
A CAD Technician performs a wide variety of drafting duties that utilize Computer-Aided Design/Drafting (CAD) in developing engineering, graphical, architectural, and drafting designs.
A CAD Technician prepares preliminary drafts of projects, determines its feasibility, applications, and generates accurate and detailed records of engineering data. The technician will always be expected to exercise extensive judgment and initiative in the executing their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Drafting operations for the determination of project plans and collecting data for Project designs.
- Preparing complex drawings for Engineering Projects.
- Developing and drafting engineering drawings and plans, drafting contract documents, and generating correspondence for clients and managers.
- Maintaining dynamic communication with contractors, clients, engineers, and the general public for any architectural, engineering, or construction issues.
- Performing fieldwork, documentation, research, and drafting tasks of engineering data as requested by clients or managers.
- Performing regular computer software and AutoCAD maintenance, upgrading, and troubleshooting.
- Maintaining up-to-date working and technical knowledge of all procedural and improvement changes to computer hardware and software applications.
