Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council,
We are looking for a reliable, committed and customer-focused Estates Cleaner to help maintain clean, safe and welcoming communal areas across the Council’s housing neighbourhoods. This is a practical, hands-on role supporting residents and colleagues by delivering high standards of estate cleanliness, reporting issues promptly and contributing to a positive living environment.
About the Role
As an Estates Cleaner, you will undertake daily cleaning and estate maintenance duties in internal and external communal areas. This will include:
- Sweeping
- Mopping
- Polishing
- Dusting
- Litter removal
- Removing graffiti where required
- Collecting rubbish and fly-tipping

This role is essential to ensure housing areas such as car parks, footpaths, bin stores, laundries and communal spaces are kept clean, tidy and safe.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in a non-domestic cleaning environment.
- The ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- A trustworthy, self-motivated and flexible approach.
- An understanding of safe working practices, including the safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- A professional approach when dealing with tenants, residents, colleagues and other interested parties.
- A full driving licence
