Estates Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an internationally renowned retailer to recruit an Estates Manager for their Head Office site in London.

This is a strategic and hands-on position where you will manage a national portfolio of commercial and residential properties, ensuring value is maximised while supporting the wider business objectives.

Duties

Duties of the Estates Manager will include:

  • Managing day-to-day property and estate-related matters across a national portfolio
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and key stakeholders
  • Leading lease renewals, rent reviews, acquisitions, disposals, and broader property transactions
  • Handling landlord and tenant matters, undertaking negotiations directly
  • Managing business rates liabilities and identifying opportunities for savings and efficiencies
  • Working closely with legal, finance, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless property management
  • Leading negotiations relating to dilapidation claims and disputes

Requirements

We are keen to speak with experienced Estate Managers professionals who can demonstrate a strong blend of commercial awareness, stakeholder management, and technical estates expertise.

To be successful, you will ideally have:

  • MRICS qualification.
  • Degree-level education within Estate Management, Property, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
  • Experience of commercial & residential property
  • Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation and practice
  • Proven experience negotiating lease renewals, rent reviews, and property transactions
  • Experience managing both commercial and residential property interests
  • Strong understanding of property acquisitions and estate management
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience preparing forecasts and business cases
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and build effective professional relationships
