Estates Manager | National Multi-Site Retail Property Portfolio | Remote
Are you an experienced Estates Manager looking for a role where you can directly influence a large, multi-site retail property portfolio?
We're partnering with a leading UK organisation to recruit an Estates Manager who will play a key role in managing lease events, landlord relationships, and commercial property negotiations across a diverse national estate. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded property professional who thrives on negotiation, relationship management, and delivering value through strategic estate management.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Estates Manager, you will lead a range of lease-related activities, taking ownership of rent reviews, lease renewals, landlord negotiations, and portfolio support initiatives.
You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders, legal teams, and external property advisors to protect and enhance the business's property interests.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead rent reviews and lease renewals from initiation through to completion.
- Negotiate directly with landlords and manage external property consultants.
- Interpret lease provisions and provide expert guidance on lease-related matters.
- Support the management of higher-profile landlord and neighbour disputes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property agents, surveyors, and advisers across the UK.
- Monitor market evidence, rental trends, and valuation activity to inform business decisions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning relating to property costs.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies across the estates function.
About You
You'll be a commercially astute property professional with a strong background in estates management and lease event negotiation.
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Degree qualification in Real Estate or a related discipline.
- MRICS accreditation or a clear pathway towards qualification.
- Proven experience managing rent reviews and lease renewals.
- Strong landlord negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working across multi-site commercial property portfolios.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building abilities.
- A pragmatic, self-motivated approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
