Project Manager - Estates

We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Project Manager to join our Estates team at Falmouth Exeter Plus. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a range of estates projects that enhance the facilities supporting our partner universities and their vibrant learning communities.

As Project Manager, you’ll take the lead on the planning, coordination, and delivery of a range of projects, from strategic lifecycle works to major building works. You’ll manage projects through all stages, from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

  • You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, managing contractors and monitoring performance, while ensuring minimal disruption to our campuses.
  • Supported by a highly skilled estates team, you’ll have the autonomy to shape your portfolio of works to ensure the best outcomes for our university partners.

Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, you’ll be a highly motivated and detail-focused professional with a strong background in Project Management within estates and/or construction. You’ll bring both technical knowledge and excellent people skills, able to balance the demands of complex projects with the effective management of diverse stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
