Are you a qualified Chartered Surveyor looking for an opportunity to make a real impact across a diverse property portfolio?
Wyre Forest District Council is seeking an enthusiastic and commercially minded Estates Surveyor to join our Property Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing and enhancing wide-ranging portfolio of assets while supporting the Council's commercial and regeneration ambitions.
As Estates Surveyor, you will:
- Work across a varied portfolio of more than 250 assets
- Undertake estate management activities including lease negotiations, rent reviews, valuations, and property marketing
- Help identify opportunities to maximise income generation
- Support the delivery of the Council's Strategic Asset Management Plan

You will be required to:
- Provide access to a suitable vehicle for business use in connection with the duties of the post.
- Undertake occasional duties that involve a degree of physical activity and mobility, including site inspections and visits.
- Work in a hybrid capacity, with a minimum of two days per week spent on site or in the office, subject to service requirements.
- Adopt a flexible approach to working hours, including attendance at evening meetings and occasional work outside normal office hours.
