Estates Surveyor Glasgow (Office-Based) | UK-Wide Travel Required

Gleeson Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a growing multi-site healthcare organisation in the appointment of an Estates Surveyor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with an extensive UK & Ireland property portfolio and play a key role in its ongoing growth and expansion.

Offering a broad remit across estate management, landlord and tenant matters, lease negotiations, acquisitions and strategic portfolio planning, this role would suit a commercially minded property professional seeking autonomy, variety and genuine influence within a growing organisation.

The Role:

Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for managing existing properties whilst supporting the identification and acquisition of new locations across the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess new property opportunities across the UK and Ireland.
  • Manage a diverse multi-site operational property portfolio.
  • Lead landlord and tenant negotiations.
  • Manage lease renewals, rent reviews and lease agreements.
  • Support acquisition, relocation and estate optimisation projects.
  • Work closely with legal, operational and senior leadership teams.
  • Present commercial recommendations and property strategies to key stakeholders.

About You:

We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Strong surveying background.
  • Experience negotiating rents, rates and lease agreements.
  • Experience managing multi-site property portfolios.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting recommendations.
  • Flexibility to travel regularly throughout the UK.
