Make-Up Artist (In-Store)

As one of our highly skilled make-up artists, you will combine your creative and technical expertise—and passion for helping people—to provide a welcoming, inspirational, and personalised in-store experience. About the Role

While certification in make-up artistry and/or retail experience is desirable, we welcome applicants with amateur-level experience who can demonstrate:

Responsibilities

  • Use your artistic skill to create stunning make-up looks that inspire and educate customers
  • Engage with clients one-on-one, offering personalised consultations and styling advice
  • Assist in rolling out seasonal promotions, events, and brand initiatives in-store
  • Contribute to visual merchandising, ensuring displays are eye-catching and aligned with brand aesthetics
  • Manage retail point-of-sale systems and provide exceptional in-person customer service
  • Offer training and mentorship to junior colleagues (if required)
  • Represent the brand professionally, reflecting its ethical and high-end values

Requirements

  • Preferred: A certification in make-up artistry or proven retail make-up experience
  • Required: Strong technical craftsmanship alongside soft skills—self-confidence, adaptability, and an approachable attitude
  • Able to provide inspirational and authentic customer service—building trust and rapport with clients
  • Willing to work retail hours, including weekdays, nights, weekends, and occasional special events
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
  • Experience with retail POS systems (a bonus, but not a deal-breaker if compensated by strong reception)
    • Shortlisted candidates will need to provide proof of the right to live and work in the [country name] if invited for an interview
