Make-Up Artist (In-Store)

About the Role
While certification in make-up artistry and/or retail experience is desirable, we welcome applicants with amateur-level experience who can demonstrate:
- A high level of technical and creative expertise
- A genuine passion for beauty, personal styling, and customer engagement

Responsibilities
- Use your artistic skill to create stunning make-up looks that inspire and educate customers
- Engage with clients one-on-one, offering personalised consultations and styling advice
- Assist in rolling out seasonal promotions, events, and brand initiatives in-store
- Contribute to visual merchandising, ensuring displays are eye-catching and aligned with brand aesthetics
- Manage retail point-of-sale systems and provide exceptional in-person customer service
- Offer training and mentorship to junior colleagues (if required)
- Represent the brand professionally, reflecting its ethical and high-end values
Requirements
- Preferred: A certification in make-up artistry or proven retail make-up experience
- Required: Strong technical craftsmanship alongside soft skills—self-confidence, adaptability, and an approachable attitude
- Able to provide inspirational and authentic customer service—building trust and rapport with clients
- Willing to work retail hours, including weekdays, nights, weekends, and occasional special events
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
- Experience with retail POS systems (a bonus, but not a deal-breaker if compensated by strong reception)
- Shortlisted candidates will need to provide proof of the right to live and work in the [country name] if invited for an interview
