Fragrance Advisor (Sales Associate) – Prestige Beauty

About the Role

As a Fragrance Advisor at Estée Lauder Companies, you will embody our luxury fragrance brands, delivering an unmatched customer experience through:

  • Deep product knowledge of fragrances
  • Personalised service tailored to individual personality, lifestyle, and preferences
  • Expert guidance as a brand ambassador to help customers discover their ideal scent

Considered one of our highly skilled sales associates, you’ll blend creative flair, technical expertise, and a passion for people to create:

  • A welcoming, inspirational, and personalised in-store experience
  • An environment that educates and delights customers in memorably

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in exploring, selecting, and discovering fragrances that align with their identity.
  • Provide product knowledge through engaging, expert conversations tailored to customer needs.
  • Engage dynamically as part of a high-performing team to:
    • Plan and execute impactful in-store events
    • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, ensuring the store is competitive and visually striking
  • Foster a culture that celebrates diversity of thought and representation.

Must-Have Qualifications & Authenticity

No formal retail background is strictly required—amateur-level experience paired with strong creative and technical skills will be considered. To qualify, you must also:

  • Demonstrate passion for luxury beauty and ability to create authentic, tailored customer experiences:
    • Building rapport effortlessly
    • Listening, understanding, and exceeding customer needs
  • Showcase familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) software used in retail (preferably prior experience).
  • Ensure proof of right to work is available if shortlisted for the interview (varies by country).
