Make-Up Artist – Prestige Beauty Retail Role

As one of our highly skilled make-up artists, you will combine your creative and technical expertise with a passion for people to deliver an exceptional, welcoming, inspirational, and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights our customers.

About the Role

  • Provide ** personalized make-up consultations** and demonstrations to customers

Responsibilities

Core Tasks

  • Offer skilled make-up services tailored to individual customer preferences
  • Educate customers on product usage, trends, and skincare routines
  • assist with in-store promotions, launches, and seasonal campaigns
  • Ensure retail efficiency by managing point-of-sale systems and inventory awareness
  • Exhibit professionalism, attention to detail, and a positive work ethic

Team & Retail Functioning

  • Work effectively within a fast-paced, collaborative team
  • Reinforce brand identity and customer loyalty through exceptional service
  • Assist in the execution of store-wide events and peak-selling periods (including weekends, nights, and holidays)

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in make-up artistry and/or previous retail make-up experience (desirable)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical expertise (either professional or amateur)

Essential Skills

  • Able to deliver inspirational, tailored customer service aligns with the brand’s values
  • Proven ability to communicate technical skills clearly with diverse customer bases
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-moving retail environment, including:
    • Days, evenings, weekends, and after-hours during events
    • Experience with retail POS systems
