Pettigrew Recruitment Group is recruiting for an Estimating Administrator on behalf of a well-established and respected construction business based in Perth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy estimating team, providing essential administrative support throughout the tendering process while developing your knowledge of the construction sector.
The Role:
Working closely with the Estimators and wider commercial team, you will play a vital role in ensuring tenders are prepared efficiently and submitted on time. You will be responsible for coordinating documentation, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the day-to-day administration of the estimating function.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the estimating team.
- Preparing and issuing tender enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Managing incoming quotations and maintaining tender records.
- Organising project documentation and electronic filing systems.
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of tender documentation.
- Liaising with internal departments, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain information required for tenders.
- Updating spreadsheets, databases, and reporting information accurately.
- Ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will be highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Previous experience in a construction, engineering, or commercial administration role would be advantageous, although applicants with strong administrative experience from other sectors will also be considered.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an administrative or coordinator role.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work independently while supporting a busy team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
