Role Description
The Estimating and Internal Sales Team Leader is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role oversees the internal estimating and sales function, coordinating incoming enquiries, preparing accurate quotations, and ensuring timely responses to customers and prospects. The Team Leader will manage a small team, allocate workload, set priorities, and provide guidance to maintain high standards of accuracy and customer service.

Day-to-day tasks include:

- Reviewing drawings and specifications
- Liaising with suppliers for pricing
- Updating CRM and internal systems
- Working closely with project managers to support proposals and bids
- Developing internal sales processes
- Monitoring performance metrics
- Supporting continuous improvement
- Helping build long-term relationships with key clients
Qualifications
- Experience in estimating and quotation preparation for industrial, construction, or warehouse fit-out projects, with strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Background in internal sales or sales support, including managing enquiries, pipeline tracking, and CRM usage.
- Leadership experience in supervising or coordinating a small office or sales team, with the ability to mentor and motivate colleagues.
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills, including confident phone and email communication and a professional client-facing manner.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or CAD layouts, and work closely with design and project teams.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and familiarity with CRM or ERP systems.
- Relevant experience in storage, racking, warehouse solutions, workshop fit-outs, or a related industrial sector is highly beneficial.
- Formal education in a technical, business, or engineering-related discipline is advantageous, though equivalent industry experience is also valued.
