Location: Brentwood Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experience Benefits: Bonus, pension, holidays, and a range of additional benefits

We're looking for an Estimating Manager to lead and inspire our estimating function, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, competitive proposals that support business growth and client satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a growing organisation, working closely with colleagues across the business to deliver excellent customer outcomes and drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing
As Estimating Manager, you'll lead a team responsible for delivering timely and accurate quotations across a diverse portfolio of client contracts.
Your focus will be on developing your people, ensuring consistent ways of working, driving performance, and creating a positive, customer-focused culture. You'll work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders to identify opportunities, improve efficiency, and support the continued success of the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Estimators, supporting both performance and career development.
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and customer-focused team culture.
- Ensure quotations and proposals are delivered accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Monitor team performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support reporting, business reviews, and performance analysis.
- Implement and maintain effective processes and controls.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Contribute to the achievement of departmental and wider business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and governance requirements.
- Balance customer expectations with commercial objectives to deliver successful outcomes.
