We're looking to add a Estimator to our team here at Frontline Security Solutions.
Whilst our offices are based out of Chalfont St Peter, we can be open to remote working for the right candidate.
Our Estimating team is growing, and we’re looking for someone who wants to play a key role in winning new work. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of preparing tender proposals, turning survey information and bid requirements into accurate, well-presented costings that help secure projects for the business. You’ll work to clear deadlines, making sure every tender is on time, on budget, and fully aligned with what the client needs.

What You’ll be Doing as a Estimator
You’ll be in constant contact with manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, and clients, building relationships and gathering the information you need to price each project confidently. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with facts and figures, and seeing their input directly influence the success of the company.

- Preparing estimates and response documents for all opportunities
- Collaborate closely with the Sales, Operations and Key Stakeholders to meet customer requirements
- Understand the costings for quotations, verifying part numbers and quantities
- Complete technical compliance statements
- Assess drawings, plans and technical specifications
- Reach out to suppliers and manufacturers for quotations and project support
- Follow up on submitted bids to understand their status
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting multiple deadlines
- Represent Frontline at client or contractor meetings as needed
What We Would Like You To Bring
We’re looking for someone with a sharp eye for detail who can communicate clearly and professionally with people at all levels. You should be comfortable working under pressure, making decisions when it counts, and taking ownership of your work. If you’re ambitious, keen to learn new technologies and systems, and enthusiastic about developing your skills, you’ll thrive in this role.
Essential:
- Proficient in Excel with good to intermediate skills
- Confident in using Microsoft Office packages
- Strong organizational skills
- Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple overlapping quick deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent communication skills
