Role Description
This is a full-time Estimator role based in an office in Harlow, United Kingdom. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for structural and architectural metalwork projects, analysing project specifications, and preparing tenders. Tasks include liaising with clients and suppliers, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver competitive and reliable proposals. This role is integral to meeting project objectives and maintaining the company's high standards.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical and mathematical skills for preparing accurate cost estimates.
- Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve project objectives.
- Knowledge of the steel and construction industry, including an understanding of industry standards and best practices.
- Proficiency in using relevant software tools for estimating and project management such as Bluebeam.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Experience with metalwork, structural alterations, or refurbishment projects is an advantage.
- Relevant professional qualifications in construction are highly desirable.
