A highly respected specialist contractor operating within the roofing, cladding and façade sector is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its commercial team.
The company delivers a wide range of building envelope packages across residential, commercial, education and mixed-use developments, regularly working on projects valued from several hundred thousand pounds to multi-million-pound contracts.
This opportunity would suit an Estimator with experience pricing roofing, cladding, façades, rainscreen systems or associated building envelope packages.
The Role
Reporting into the estimating leadership team, you will take responsibility for preparing accurate and competitive tenders from initial enquiry through to submission.

Responsibilities include:
- Producing detailed estimates and tender submissions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and scope documentation
- Undertaking take-offs using industry estimating software
- Obtaining quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Evaluating labour, material and programme costs
- Identifying opportunities for value engineering
- Attending pre-contract meetings and client negotiations
- Managing tender queries and maintaining bid records
- Supporting project handovers for secured work
Requirements
- Previous estimating experience within roofing, cladding, facades or the wider construction sector
- Strong commercial awareness
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience producing competitive tender submissions
- Strong Excel and computer skills
- Bluebeam knowledge advantageous
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred
