Job Title: Estimator
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: Experience Dependant + car allowance + pension contribution
Sector: Zinc and Copper Specialist Roofing and Construction
As an Estimator, you have a vital role within the business overseeing and submitting quotations. Reporting to the Directors, you'll collaborate closely to strategically shape the company's growth trajectory. You will have a strong initiative and a passion for the industry and development of the business. We are very driven on sustainability and a drive for this would be ideal.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for projects in line with client requirements
- Actively seek opportunities for business development, fostering new client relationships
- Generate timely and well-structured quotes to meet customer demands
- Expand and develop the role, helping to market the brand and company including via social media and our website
- Managing the inbox and monitoring responses for potential projects and client enquiries
- Monitoring ongoing projects from a cost perspective

Qualifications And Experience
- Degree-level education in a relevant field is preferred
- 1 year experience in estimating within the construction industry is desired
- Ability to read from drawings
- Experience with CAD
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and clients effectively
- Hard working and reliable
- Flexible to suit business needs
- Strong sense of initiative
