  • Hybrid Estimator / Procurement position dealing with a range of commercial shop fitting projects for hospitality, retail and office environments
  • May be a requirement to travel nationally to projects to ensure successful ongoing delivery (typically once per week)
  • Support project delivery through effective procurement, cost control and supplier management.
  • Manage full tender process, from take-offs and pricing through to submission and handover
  • Produce accurate estimates using drawings, specifications and supplier/subcontractor quotations
  • Source and negotiate materials, services and subcontractor costs to achieve competitive pricing
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams
  • Working on project sizes varying in size up to £1.5m (typically £80k-£250k)

The Ideal Applicant

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Interior Fit Out with:

  • Must have Estimating experience within the Shop fitting or fit-out sectors or from a closely related background
  • Candidates with a background in Procurement Management, Buying, Commercial Management or related, combined with previous Estimating experience are encouraged to apply
  • Highly advantageous to have related manufacturing experience (eg furniture, light steel, joinery etc.)
  • Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Full UK driving license
