📢 We’re Hiring – Window & Door Estimator

Role Description

The Estimator role at Compass Windows and Doors is a full-time, on-site position based in Dungiven. The Estimator will prepare accurate cost estimates for window and door projects, analysing drawings, specifications, and client requirements. The role involves collaborating with the sales and design teams to ensure estimates align with project scope, budget, and timelines, as well as updating and maintaining pricing databases and records. The Estimator will also support client meetings, respond to clarifications, and provide cost advice to help secure projects and maintain profitability.

About You

We are looking for an estimator with strong technical knowledge of the fenestration industry and a keen eye for detail preferred.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with experience preparing cost estimates, take-offs, and quotations for construction or manufacturing projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, technical specifications, and schedules related to windows, doors, and façade elements.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, architects, contractors, sales teams, and production staff.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organisation, with the ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
