Estimator / Project Manager / Account Manager - FF&E, Furniture & Interiors - Dewsbury, West Yorkshire

(Also known in the industry as: Senior Estimator, FF&E Estimator, Furniture Estimator, Joinery Estimator, Fit Out Estimator, Upholstery Estimator, Soft Furnishings Estimator, Contract Furniture Project Manager, Interiors Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Account Manager, Quantity Surveyor.)

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimator, Project Manager or Account Manager from the furniture, upholstery, FF&E, joinery, commercial fit out or soft furnishings sectors to join a family-run manufacturer with over a century of combined expertise. Our client manufactures and installs bespoke curtains, drapery and soft furnishings for luxury and contemporary hotels and high-end multi-residential properties around the world.

This is an office-based role in Dewsbury (WF13) and a genuinely dual one. You will spend as much time preparing accurate, technical cost estimates and quotations as you will project managing B2B contracts from initial enquiry through to installation and final handover, acting as the client's main point of contact and account manager throughout.

You do not need to have worked with curtains or soft furnishings before. If you have estimated, quoted or project managed bespoke, made-to-order interiors work in upholstery, furniture manufacture, contract furniture, FF&E, joinery, cabinetry, shopfitting or commercial fit out, your skills transfer directly: reading drawings and schedules, taking off quantities, pricing materials and labour, and coordinating workshops, suppliers and installers to a deadline. What matters is the estimating and project management skill set and a willingness to learn the product.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
