Demolition Estimator
Location: Birmingham based with UK travel
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Demolition Estimator to join a well-established and expanding specialist contractor. Due to continued business growth and a strong pipeline of exciting projects, the company is looking to strengthen its pre-construction team with an experienced estimator.

The Role:
As a Demolition Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a wide range of demolition projects. Working closely with operational and commercial teams, you'll help secure new business while ensuring tenders are commercially viable and technically robust.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for demolition projects.
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
- Carry out site visits to assess project scope and identify potential risks.
- Produce competitive tender submissions within required timescales.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Liaise with operational, commercial, and project delivery teams during the tender process.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
- Maintain accurate estimating records and support handover of successful projects.

- Proven experience in demolition estimating.
- Strong commercial awareness and technical understanding of demolition projects.
- The ability to assess complex tenders and develop accurate cost estimates.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
