About the Role
The role of the Estimator Architectural & Structural Metalwork will involve:
- Estimating positions dealing with a range of high-quality balustrades, stairs, balconies, and structural steel
- Liaising with clients and designers to gain a full understanding of project requirements
- Liaising with suppliers to obtain costs for materials, labour, and plant and equipment
- Producing detailed take-offs and formalized quotations to clients
- Keeping internal database and documentation up to date
- Attending mid-bid and post-tender meetings
- Prioritising own workload to ensure deadlines are met
- Working on project sizes ranging between £300k - £3m

Requirements
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Architectural & Structural Metalwork with:
- Must have 3 years of estimating experience within a specialist subcontractor
- Must have steel fabrication experience; however, would consider other building envelope backgrounds such as cladding, cladding support systems, metalwork, etc.
- Experience working on large-scale projects
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High levels of attention to detail
- Driven, ambitious, self-motivated, and a positive attitude
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to commute or relocate
