Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Fit Out Estimator
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Fit Out Estimator to join a highly respected workplace interiors and fit-out business.
We’re working with an established and growing specialist contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit-out and workplace projects for a range of leading clients. With a record-breaking year on the cards for them and a turnover of £250 million, this is the perfect time to join their pre-construction team as they go onto their next phase of company growth.
As the business continues to grow, they’re looking for an experienced Fit Out Estimator to join the team and play a key role in securing new projects and supporting the company’s continued success.
Your Responsibilities
- Preparing detailed estimates and tenders from drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Carrying out detailed take-offs and pricing
- Identifying project risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Supporting tender negotiations and presentations
- Working closely with the wider pre-construction and delivery teams
- Contributing to the continued development of estimating processes and best practice

What We’re Looking For
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience estimating commercial fit-out projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and subcontractor packages
- Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
- The ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
- Strong IT and estimating software skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A proactive, organised approach and the ability to work to deadlines
