Are you an experienced Estimator looking to work on some of the UK's largest and most exciting energy infrastructure projects?

Our client is one of the UK's leading engineering and infrastructure contractors, delivering major projects across the power, transmission, and utilities sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an Estimator to join their expanding commercial team based in Golborne.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile National Grid and energy infrastructure schemes while developing your career within a business that actively invests in professional development. Applications are also welcomed from Estimators looking to progress into a Senior Estimator position.

  • Attending tender review, settlement, and handover meetings.
  • Liaising with engineering, planning, design, and commercial teams throughout the bid process.
  • Reviewing NEC contract requirements and ensuring commercial compliance.
  • Assisting with value engineering and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Producing accurate and well-presented tender submissions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
