With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial construction projects, this business continues to secure a healthy pipeline of work across multiple sectors and is looking to strengthen its pre-construction function with the appointment of a commercially focused Estimator.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator looking to join a supportive environment where they can play a key role in securing future projects and contribute directly to the success of the business.
The Role
Working closely with senior management and operational teams, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a range of commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Reviewing tender documents, drawings and specifications
- Producing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Carrying out take-offs and quantity measurements
- Obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Identifying risks and opportunities within project documentation
- Preparing cost plans and pricing schedules
- Supporting bid presentations and client discussions where required
- Maintaining tender records and documentation
- Working closely with delivery teams during project handovers

Requirements
- Previous experience as an Estimator within the construction industry
- Strong commercial project experience is essential
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and contract documentation
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously
