Are you an Estimator looking to develop your career with a leading specialist contractor? Or perhaps you're a Junior Estimator ready to take the next step in a supportive, experienced team?

I'm working with a well-established specialist civil engineering contractor that delivers projects across infrastructure, residential, commercial and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint either an Estimator or Junior Estimator to strengthen their pre-construction team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a wide variety of projects while working alongside experienced professionals who will support your ongoing development.

The Role

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions.
  • Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
  • Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
  • Assist with pricing strategies and value engineering opportunities.
  • Liaise with operational teams to ensure estimates are commercially viable.
  • Support handovers from pre-construction through to delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
