Location: Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, G64 2PY
Working Hours: Monday - Friday – 36.5 hours per week

About Marley Contract Services (MCS)

Marley Contract Services (MCS) is a roofing contractor operating in Scotland, specialising in pitched roofing applications including Solar PV panels. MCS has a workforce of up to 80 with a small office team of around seven who are based at our office in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow.

The Role

If you thrive on numbers, negotiation, and building great relationships, this could be the role for you. You'll deliver competitive quotations, uncover cost-saving opportunities, analyse project performance, and help maximise profitability while supporting the delivery of outstanding roofing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the accuracy of our project estimates and tracking them against actual figures.
  • Blending technical expertise and a commercial mindset to drive profitability.
  • Working closely with internal departments.
  • Collaborating with suppliers.
  • Maintaining cost control processes.

Required Skills

  • Previous experience as an estimator within the construction industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and requirements.
  • IT skills with Microsoft, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Experience within construction projects and understanding contractual terms and conditions.
  • Effective working knowledge of establishing strong partnerships with clients.
