Build Your Career on Major UK Infrastructure Projects
Are you an Assistant Estimator looking to take the next step in your career?
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established civil engineering consultancy that delivers specialist estimating and cost engineering services on major infrastructure projects across the UK.
Working alongside experienced Cost Engineers, you'll gain hands-on experience across highways, bridges, drainage, water and wider infrastructure schemes while receiving structured mentoring and clear career progression.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting with detailed cost estimates for major infrastructure projects
- Producing quantity take-offs and supporting Bills of Quantities
- Reviewing engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Supporting senior Cost Engineers throughout the estimating process
- Maintaining estimating data and cost information
- Developing your commercial and technical knowledge within a collaborative team

We're Looking For
- 1 to 3 years' estimating or similar construction/commercial experience
- Background within civil engineering, infrastructure or construction
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to develop
Experience within highways, bridges, drainage, water, structures, utilities or temporary works would be advantageous.
