Estimator (Renewables)

£55,000 - £63,000 + Company benefits + Progression + Hybrid + Car Allowance

Birmingham, West Midlands

Are you an Estimator or similar with experience within the renewables industry looking for an autonomous, varied role within a rapidly growing company offering a unique workload, long-term progression opportunities and a car allowance?

This company was established in the early 2010s as part of a wider group, providing solar design and installation services to a range of commercial clients. Through continued success, they have grown into a multi-million-pound business and a leader within their industry. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an Estimator to join their commercial team.

In this varied role, your primary responsibilities will include supporting the Senior Development Lead with business cases and financial reports, while handling initial and pre-construction BOQs, take-offs, tender packs and presentation packs. You will also attend customer sites around 5-7 days per month to gain a better understanding of project requirements and support the wider pre-construction process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
