Estimator (Sizewell C) CWA Sizewell C
- Support estimates in accordance with the SZC policies and procedures.
- Generally support the Geotechnical Estimating Team with the estimate development
- Review SZC's drawings and specifications to prepare accurate costing sheets for materials, labour, and equipment
- Record assumptions and identify risks and opportunities including supporting developing the risk evaluation from a pricing/budgetary point of view.
- Liaise with members of the project team & supply chain to develop and understand methodologies and principles proposed.
- Support in developing from first principles labour, plant material, subcontract pricing within the Contractor's Estimating Software Candy.
- Producing quantity take-off's and scheduling from enquiry documents
- Compiling elementary bills for pricing
- Preparation of supplier and sub-contractor enquiries for sourcing quotations
- Compilation of graphics and text to include within tender proposals
- Liaising with plant division to source bespoke items
- Working within various electronic portals to submit and retrieve information.
- Support package handovers to operations.

Essential
- Proficient in the use of excel and similar software.
- Good knowledge & understanding of written English & mathematics

Desirable
- Experienced estimating background using Candy Estimating Software.
- Experienced estimating background using RIB Cost X Quantification & Estimating Software.
- Experience of working with the AACE principles of Estimating Class and associated maturity
- Mobile and flexible
