Estimator required to join leading civil engineering contractor based in the Scunthorpe area.
Role Overview The Estimator would ideally come from a civil engineering background with experience covering formwork, rebar, concrete and groundworks. Estimators with project experience covering roads, drainage, concrete works, piling, marine projects, beach recycling, beach nourishment, timber groyne works, rock groyne / revetment works, sea wall works and coastal protection projects would be an advantage for the role.

Duties
- Monitoring of relevant portals for tender opportunities.
- Download of Invitations to Tender into tender folders.
- Preparation of tenders.
- Attend tender site visits as required.
- Production of preliminary tender method statements, safety plans and programmes when required.
- Sending out sub-contractor tender enquiries when required.
- Liaising with Buyers/Plant Dept/Accounts for materials/plant/labour costs.
- Attend tender adjudications with Commercial Team.
- Submission of tenders to clients and/or portals.
- Preparation of PQQs when required.
- Updating client Framework information when requested.
- Attend internal handover meetings to handover successful tenders from Estimator to Site Team.
