Estimator – Bespoke Joinery

Job Title: Estimator – Bespoke Joinery

Location: Leicester

Remuneration: £55,000 + Discretionary bonus

Benefits: 22 days annual leave, Health schemes and Company benefits package

The Role

The role of the Estimator – Bespoke Joinery will involve:

  • Estimator position dealing with a high end range of bespoke commercial & residential joinery projects (desks, panelling, furniture, cabinets and surfaces)
  • Review tender enquiries to determine scope of works and project deadlines
  • Working on projects where each product/system is unique and therefore requires a bespoke approach
  • Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
  • Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
  • Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
  • Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers
  • Managing large projects up-to a value of £750k

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Bespoke Joinery with:

  • Must have experience as an Estimator working within the bespoke joinery sector
  • Highly advantageous to have commercial joinery experience
  • Strong technical understanding of drawings and client specifications
  • Ability to interpret project requirements and translate them into accurate cost plans
  • Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills
  • IT Literate particularly excel
