Estimator - Precast Concrete Products
Location: Prudhoe, Northumberland
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team, supporting the pricing and quotation of precast concrete products for construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with estimating experience in the construction industry who is confident working with drawings, specifications, and project information to produce accurate and commercially sound quotations.
Working closely with our sales, design, and operations teams, you will help ensure enquiries are reviewed thoroughly, costs are captured correctly, and quotations are submitted clearly and on time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing estimates and quotations for precast concrete products
- Reviewing drawings, schedules, specifications, and tender information
- Calculating material, labour, production, transport, and associated project costs
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, and the operations team to clarify requirements
- Producing clear quotation notes, assumptions, exclusions, and clarifications
- Supporting project handover once orders are secured
- Occasional site visits

About You
- You have estimating experience within the construction industry
- You understand how to read and interpret construction drawings and technical information
- You have strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail
- You are confident using Excel, working with pricing templates, take-offs, and cost data
- You can manage multiple enquiries and deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Experience with precast concrete, concrete products, cast stone, civils, or construction manufacturing would be highly advantageous
