The Role

Zenith is looking for an Estimator to support our continued growth across industrial, energy, infrastructure, and commercial sectors.

We're interested in speaking with experienced estimators, but we'd also welcome applications from people with relevant construction, engineering, commercial, or project delivery backgrounds who may be looking to move into estimating.

The role involves preparing estimates and tender submissions, undertaking site visits, engaging with clients, and helping secure future work through competitive and commercially robust proposals.

Experience within construction, industrial services, maintenance, access solutions, or related sectors would be beneficial, although specialist training can be provided.

If you're looking for a new challenge and want to be part of a growing business with opportunities for development and progression, we'd love to hear from you.

Skills & Personal Qualities

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and liaise confidently with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and tender documentation.
  • Highly organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other estimating or commercial systems.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project or other project planning tools would be advantageous.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
