What You Will Be Doing
As an Estimator, you'll play a key role in supporting our sales and production teams by preparing accurate quotations for machined parts. Working from technical drawings and customer requirements, you'll calculate costs, produce CAD drawings and ensure estimates are delivered on time, helping to turn enquiries into successful orders.

Your day to day responsibilities include:
- Prepare estimates from technical drawings and samples.
- Produce technical drawings using CAD software.
- Calculate material, labour and machining costs.
- Liaise with customers, sales and production teams.
- Manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines.
What Are We Looking For
We're looking for an organised and detail focused individual with experience in estimating within an engineering or manufacturing environment. You'll have a good understanding of machining processes, be confident interpreting technical drawings and enjoy working collaboratively with different teams to deliver excellent results.
To Be Successful In This Role, You’ll Need
- Experience in estimating or engineering manufacturing.
- Understanding of CNC routing, milling and machining processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- CAD experience and strong IT skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience in cost analysis and material/labour calculation.
