The Role

We are seeking a motivated Estimator/Project Manager to support business growth by preparing accurate, competitive quotations and building strong client relationships. Once work is secured, you will take ownership of project management, ensuring projects are delivered successfully from order through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed quotations covering materials, fabrication, print, lighting, labour, installation and subcontractors
  • Attend site meetings and surveys, interpret drawings/specifications, and recommend suitable signage solutions
  • Support tender submissions, proposals, and client presentations
  • Negotiate pricing and terms while protecting margins
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, manage pipeline activity, and follow up quotes
  • Project manage jobs post-sale, coordinating with design, production, and installation teams to ensure smooth delivery

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Proven experience in sales, estimating, or a related role in the signage, print, or construction industries
  • Some understanding of signage production processes, materials, and installation techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency with estimating software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel for meetings/site surveys (driving licence essential)

Desirable:

  • Experience using graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW)
  • Familiarity with large-format printing, CNC routing, laser cutting, or vinyl application processes
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
