About the Role:

The ETC Strength and Conditioning Coach will support the Female Football Development Manager and Senior Female Football Development Coach in the delivery of the Emerging Talent Centre (ETC) programme, ensuring players are physically prepared to train, compete, and develop safely and effectively. The post holder will design and deliver age-appropriate strength and conditioning sessions, supporting the physical development, performance, and wellbeing of players in line with ETC standards and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Programme Planning & Delivery

  • Design, plan, and deliver an engaging physical performance programme aligned with the Emerging Talent Centre's physical development framework.
  • Plan and deliver sessions in line with the framework and objectives set by the Female Football Development Manager and Centre Management Team.
  • Deliver high-quality sessions to individuals and small groups, adapting content to meet the needs of different ages, abilities, and stages of physical maturation. All need to be pitch based!

Athletic Development & Conditioning

  • Implement age-appropriate on-pitch conditioning sessions that develop key athletic qualities, including speed, power, agility, coordination, and movement efficiency with a footballing focus.
  • Deliver strength and conditioning sessions, alongside formal monitoring, testing, and evaluation processes to track player development and performance.
  • Develop and deliver female-specific athletic development programmes for players aged 8-16, with a focus on movement competency, injury prevention, and long-term athlete development.
  • Provide players with tailored, age-appropriate home training programmes to encourage independent learning and continued physical development outside of ETC sessions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
