About the Role

Our client, a highly respected, prestigious global hedge fund, is looking to hire a specialist ETF Operations professional into their London team. This is a newly created position supporting the build-out and launch of a new ETF business, offering significant ownership and exposure from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Broad remit across the full ETF trade lifecycle, including create/redeem activity, allocations, matching, reconciliations, settlements, fails management, and prime broker relationships.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, working closely with senior traders and portfolio managers across the European business.
  • Significant project and process improvement component, partnering with in-house engineering to enhance operational infrastructure, improve controls, and drive automation.

Required Experience

  • Specific experience in ETF trade support, middle office, or operations from either the buy-side or sell-side.
  • Proven track record of delivering process improvement, automation, or broader operational projects.
  • Preferred: existing Python, VBA, or SQL experience, or someone looking to develop their technical skill set.

Compensation

  • First-year total compensation expected to be up to £200k TC.
  • Guaranteed bonus to compensate for any upcoming bonus that would be forfeited by making the move.
