Introduction

Wipro is looking for a DataStage Developer to join our Data & Analytics team. As the DataStage Developer, you will design and deliver scalable data integration solutions that support critical business initiatives and data-driven decision making. You will work with architects, analysts, and engineering teams to build reliable, high-performing ETL solutions that enable enterprise-wide data transformation.

Your Responsibilities

As a DataStage Developer, you will:

  • Design and develop enterprise ETL solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
  • Build scalable data integration workflows and complex job sequences.
  • Optimize ETL performance, data processing, and database interactions.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and quality teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Support production deployments, troubleshooting, automation, and scheduling activities.

  • IBM InfoSphere DataStage development and administration
  • ETL and data integration design principles
  • SQL and PL/SQL development
  • Data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling
  • Relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or Teradata

Desirable Skills

Ideally, you will be familiar with:

  • QualityStage and related IBM Information Server components
  • Unix/Linux shell scripting
  • Control-M, Autosys, or similar scheduling tools
  • Data migration and data quality frameworks
  • Modern cloud and enterprise data platforms
