A leading financial markets organisation is seeking a Technology Business Analyst to join a high-performing team responsible for delivering enhancements across a mission-critical electronic trading platform. Operating within a fast-paced environment, you'll work at the heart of a complex trading ecosystem, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Architecture and Operations teams to deliver technology change that directly impacts customers and market participants.

Your new role

As a Technology Business Analyst, you will play a key role in the full product delivery life cycle, from requirements gathering through to production delivery. Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you will analyse new product requests, assess system impacts, and define requirements for enhancements to a low-latency trading platform.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience as a Business Analyst within electronic trading, capital markets or financial markets technology (essential)
  • Exposure to trading systems, matching engines, order management systems or similar front-office platforms
  • Ability to analyse API documentation and understand system integrations
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience performing impact assessments and taking a holistic view of technology change across multiple systems
  • Strong process mapping and requirements gathering capabilities
  • Experience working in an Agile software delivery environment
  • Understanding of REST APIs and systems integration concepts
  • Knowledge of low-latency or high-performance platforms would be advantageous
  • Exposure to FX, Equities, Fixed Income or other electronic trading environments is highly desirable
