Senior / Lead Analyst – LNG Business Solutions
Location: London (5 days a week onsite)
Industry: Energy / LNG Trading
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior / Lead Analyst – LNG Business Solutions to support business and technology initiatives across the LNG trading lifecycle. The role will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to design solutions, improve processes, manage priorities, and deliver technology-enabled efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis and solution design across LNG trading, risk, settlement, and shipping processes.
- Work with Front, Middle, and Back Office teams to understand requirements and improve business processes.
- Lead project teams, manage timelines, and ensure delivery aligns with business priorities.
- Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and business/system risks and recommend solutions.
- Support IT prioritization, Agile development, and delivery of business-critical solutions.
- Develop and enhance Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and performance reporting across the trade lifecycle.
- Map, document, and redesign end-to-end trading processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, technology partners, banks, and software vendors.
- Drive automation, data-driven reporting, and technology improvements.

Essential Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience working with ION Endur / ETRM or similar ETRM platforms.
- Strong experience within LNG, natural gas, oil, commodities, or energy trading.
- Good understanding of physical and financial commodity trading lifecycles.
- Knowledge of LNG purchase/sales, transportation, shipping, storage, hedging, and settlement.
- Experience modelling and managing energy deals within Endur.
- Understanding of Front, Middle, and Back Office functions and controls.
- Experience with Agile / IT development lifecycle.
- Strong business analysis, process mapping, and solution design capabilities.
- Experience developing trading-related KRI/KPI reporting.
- Advanced Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of databases and query languages.

- Commodities shipping experience.
- Python and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Excel VBA / macros.
- Visio and SharePoint.
- Experience with IT code management tools and strategies.
