Job Title: Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic software enhancement, ITSM, and corrective maintenance initiatives within a complex Energy Trading and Post Trade environment. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder engagement, governance, planning, risk management, and coordination across multiple vendors and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of Greenfield and enhancement programmes in line with agreed project principles and governance.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans, ensuring delivery against agreed milestones.
  • Manage programme scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and budget inputs.
  • Facilitate business process definition, requirements gathering, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Ensure all project decisions, architecture reviews, and design approvals are documented and governed.
  • Maintain and regularly update project risk and issue registers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, QA, and Support teams.
  • Drive alignment with Trading IT architecture, security policies, and governance standards.
  • Support business case preparation and budget planning activities.
  • Oversee testing cycles, UAT readiness, defect management, and production deployment.
  • Manage handover activities to AMS/Support teams ensuring knowledge transfer and operational readiness.
  • Operate effectively within a complex multi-vendor delivery ecosystem.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

  • 8+ years of project management experience in enterprise technology programmes.
  • Experience delivering application development, software enhancement, and maintenance engagements.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL-based environments).
  • Experience managing corrective maintenance and application lifecycle initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience managing globally distributed teams.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Risk, dependency, and governance management expertise.

Preferred

  • Experience in Energy Trading, Utilities, ETRM, CTRM, or Post Trade platforms.
  • Knowledge of Endur, Allegro, Coral ETRM, or similar trading systems.
  • PRINCE2, PMP, Agile PM, or Scrum certifications.
  • Experience working with German or European utilities.
