ETRM Sales & Product Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for an ETRM Sales & Product Specialist to join a growing energy technology business. This is a hybrid commercial and product-focused role for someone who understands the energy markets and trading environment and can translate customer needs into compelling technology solutions.

You will work closely with prospective customers across the energy sector, helping them understand how ETRM technology can improve their trading, risk management, operations, and decision-making.

The ideal candidate combines 5+ years of sales experience with a strong understanding of the energy industry. A background in energy, energy economics, engineering, finance, or energy consulting would be highly valuable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and develop the sales process for ETRM solutions, from initial prospecting through to contract negotiation and close.
  • Develop relationships with energy companies, commodity traders, utilities, and other organisations operating in energy markets.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand customers' trading, risk management, and operational requirements.
  • Present and demonstrate ETRM products to both commercial and technical stakeholders.
  • Translate complex ETRM functionality into clear business value for customers.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to communicate customer requirements and market feedback.
  • Contribute to product positioning, go-to-market strategy, and sales messaging.
  • Support product demonstrations, RFPs, tenders, and customer presentations.
  • Identify market trends and emerging customer requirements across energy trading and risk management.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities across target energy markets.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert on ETRM solutions throughout the sales cycle.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
