Job Purpose

Responsible for driving profitable sales growth within the UK Automotive Aftermarket through new business development, expansion of existing customer relationships, and management of strategic accounts, distributors, and buying groups.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the assigned UK sales territory.
  • Acquire new customers and identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and grow existing key accounts to achieve sales and profitability targets.
  • Expand relationships with major buying groups and strategic customers.
  • Identify, appoint, and develop independent distributors.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements in line with company guidelines.
  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and business reviews.
  • Plan and execute trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events, while representing the company at customer meetings and other commercial activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Marketing, Product Management, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • 5+ years of sales experience within the Automotive Independent Aftermarket (IAM).
  • Proven track record in business development and account management.
  • Experience managing distributors, key accounts, and buying groups.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK automotive aftermarket.
  • Experience working with UK buying groups and major aftermarket distribution networks is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Travel Requirements

  • Frequent travel throughout the United Kingdom.
  • Occasional international travel as required.
